Winter Trend 2010 HK pt 2

You gotta love fashion influence from Brand Names....

Cause the latest trend is Ponchos!!!

Brands that have added ponchos into their collections

Yes the cute fuzzy/itchy things that may seem gay but only fashion experts can wear...

So before you goto Maple, In & Out, Etc to buy one think about how to wear them cause i warn you they are extremely hard to match with an outfit :/

After looking at the major population....
You would pair em usually over jeans or tights :)

See how the Japanese magazine explains how to wear?

(btw this magazine is Vivi....i think...)

And for other ideas on HOW to wear Read Vivi, Ray or other Japanese magazines they worth your money (all under 40$HKD) Can be bought in any magazine store, preferably in 7 eleven or Circle K....

Hope you enjoy...

Winter Trend 2010 HK pt 1

Heey guys,

One of the latest trends this season is Nautica prints (they are winter prints but i don't the name :P

I love the sunset display of colors...it looks very intense

This piece is very simple and stubble but yet very cute with the pom poms

This red skirt is almost the same pattern as the
D & G give away i had posted about... also the fact the skirt is red is a bonus for you guys since RED is in this season...

This trend is reaching everywhere in ASIA :P

And clothes in this type of style can be found in any store...

My preferences would be...

1.Arberdeen Centre ( the on with Jumping Gym, Fortress and Apollo in it)
Since that is where i got my two tunics (as you can see above) all under 150$HKD but above 100$HKD  for the price range of the store i got it from, but there are MANY stores there which are selling at a more affordable price all clothes under 100$HKD the store has a bunch of chains called after a "color" then the word house after it.....
e.g Purple House, Red House, Pink House....etc

2. Maple :P
This is where i got my skirt and i must say it looks amazing :D 100-200$HKD

3. In/Out I love this store it has everything!!! They even begin to sell shoes there (only some branches) (e.g Wanchai Branch)

If you have any more questions feel free to ask

OPI Nicole Open at SaSa

YAYYY EVERYOne!!! Nicole Opi Is finally open in Hk :P

So happy...

Each bottle is 75$
They have every color that is permanent in the Nicole OPI collection
Some stores do vary in wether or not they carry Nicole OPI, so my advice is to goto the BIG Sasa branches in Hk (The one opposite Times square is where i go to buy mine...)

I cant tell the difference between OPI and Nicole OPI but i do love OPI and their colors. So far I've only bought only one color from the Nicole OPI collection and that is Blue Lace (I've recently had a blue obsession XD) So tell me your opinion if you have one :P

Thats all for now

Hey as you know fur is back in again...

but i wanted to ask you guys what you think about this topic...

Is it alright to wear animals fur as clothes?

If you asked me, I would have no comment since im undecided but i do sometimes find it offending to kill so many animals for an outfit which i still wonder where you could wear it in HK!? Since its like 24 - 19 degrees today...

Haute couture or not, where would you wear this in HK? Even if they are amazing in my opinion faux or non faux, I J'adore the collection in Kenzo and Roberto Cavalli's way of making a whole outfit match with the Gilet and also imitate some gilet fur patterns into his clothes which is really an amazing design idea.
Ways to wear
Kenzo

Roberto Cavalli

Natasha Poly

My top favorite is the vest it looks the best since it is stubble yet it pops and has a wintery couture feeling when you wear it. Also it fits into HK's weather since it rarely gets cold here anymore and sometimes majority of people don't want to look over dressed, the vest can be easily paired with jeans over a shirt which looks classy and casual :D (seen above)

Thats all for now <3

Yoghurt is the new Gelato :P

Everyones eating it and of course its good for us and u gain "less" calories

Frozen yoghurt stores suddenly pop-ed out of no where starting with Yomama (first frozen yoghurt bought at this brand), Milky cow, Yogo, Crumbs, Tutti Melon etc

Frozen yoghurt is basically plain frozen yoghurt with toppings of our choice :)
But in some stores the flavor of yoghurt depends on which brand of frozen yoghurt you went to... but to me it tastes all the same (for original flavored ones) but the rest are all original :P
and of course the choice of toppings depends on each store for example: Milky cow may have more cereal toppings compared to Yomama while Yomama have moor fruit toppings...get it?
and there is usually no limit to toppings just some stores may charge more for extra toppings and if you like it plain then good for you :P

Prices?: will vary but i can tell you...

Yomama:
regular size 25$HKD (includes one free topping)
LArge size 35$HKD (includes one free topping)

add additional topping 5$HKD

Website:http://yomama.com.hk/
FB page:http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=58306799417

Tutti Melon
15$=100g cause it depends how  much you swirl into your cup and how much toppings you add (self service. weigh then pay :P

Website:http://www.tuttimelon.com.hk/en/
FB page:http://www.facebook.com/tuttimelon.hk

Yogo:
100g= 15$ but the people who work there estimate how much you pay T-T so kindof weird...
(haven't been to yet) because the store lets you DIY everything how much yoghurt you put into your container, how much of a topping, etc

Website:N/A
FB page:http://www.facebook.com/yogo.hk

Crumbs:

regular:28$HKD (includes one free topping)
large:32$HKD (includes two free toppings)

additional toppings: 4$HKD

Website:http://www.crumbs.com.hk/
FB page:http://www.facebook.com/pages/Crumbs/388602111104

Milky Cow:

small: 20$HKD (no topping included)
medium: 25$HKD (no topping included)
Large:30$HKD(no topping included)

toppings: 5$HKD per topping

HAPPY THANKFUL WEEK SOGO!!!

Don't you guys love sales?

How about a whole shopping mall on sale???

Everyone knows Sogo and yes everyone too knows about this but im writing about it anyway!!!

Sogo every year has 2 Whole mall sales where everything is on discount(and if ur somehow kept away from the knowledge of Sogo i suggest you go there...NOW!!!)

and yes i went its crowded but its fun, good deal and amazing!!!

even the food is on discount =="
I didn't buy a bag full of food cause the line was HELL LONG! Even buying one milk pudding for my dad took me 15mins to wait but the "extra" milk ice cream was worthit :P (store:Hokkaido milk) (Gelato store) (main attraction:milk desserts and Gelato)

My face dessert stores

Yep i love all the stuff but im 14 so don't expect me to buy a entire collection of items...

Hot sellers:
Make-up (anna-sui), Lacome, Bobbi Brown etc)
Brandnames (MArc Jacobs, Long Champ, Coach..etc)
Jewelery Brandnames (Folli Folli, Thomas Sabo, Agatha etc)
examples of discounts

Examples of discounts

Why?
Because its on discount only at Sogo and im not joking my mom bought a entire Laneige  set worth 400HKD after discount (original 700HKD) = good deal

and i bet you, this sale is just celebrating Sogo for having so many loyal fans....
So its basically pointless to discount but so what! If you wanted to buy something expensive but wanted to wait for a discount this is your chance, goto Sogo!!!

Ya I too got a Thomas Sabo bracelet and Nailpolish Charm(see Barbie Collection) :D

For information on whats being discounted see here:
http://www2.sogothankfulweek.com.hk/dailyspecial/index.php?store=cwb

Time to embrace the "knitwear" fashions

Hello my dear readers,

have you ever had relatives or your parents buy you a horrific ugly knit sweater which you wanted to throw away>?

well fashion has redone it and created fashionable knit wear :P

knit wear is unexplainable for me (sorry i suck in explanations)

D & G
Marc Jacobs
If your wondering if there is a bag in this style heres a hint:

Price ranges from 100-200$ depends of book store you buy from
Japanse package give away D & G found in pageone and big bookstores

Want anymore examples? I would suggest you look at D & G's collection since they have perfected the  look. D & G this year have used old grandma;s sweater and given it a whole new twist by using knit wear and ski clothing to be worn while shopping with your friends in Causewaybay or going to ice skate at Elements :P

More examples in case you were wondering how to use this look in hk when its still 20 degrees....

How to wear?

I would preferably get a knit sweater dress pair with leggings and top it off with boots(fur) or with uggs since HK isn't that outrageous in fashion like US. Or you can copy like the models above since the weather is pretty hot in Hk you could pair shorts with a sweater and boots the accessories may want to be toned down unless you want to die of heat stroke XD

If you have any questions on where to get knitwear clothing i suggest you goto maple/In and Out or In Fashion since their the most reasonable priced stores i goto every year. But i went to go shopping recently and i suggest if your under 16 i wouldn't try this look, because its quite old styled if you understand what u mean? But some pieces may work its just very rare for us to look our age without looking like were 20 something :P
Example: Knit wear skirt, Maple, Red, 99.9HKD,

How to wear it?
pair with tights
boots (e.g furry boots, uggs etc)
shirt (can be any type but depends no logos please ur not a billboard)

Thats all for now

Love you
